The Zacuto Axis Mini for Sony FS5 is the most adjustable ENG-style mount for the Sony FS5 monitor, offering a full 360° of movement with four adjustment points. Designed to attach to the FS5 top plate, it provides ample lens clearance for focusing and will work with even the widest lenses. It can be easily adjusted with one hand. The Axis Mini has an extended joint for use in a variety of positions, both shoulder-mounted and in tripod operating mode. It is very small and quick to set up and take down.
The Axis Mini for Sony FS5 attaches to your rig via a 15mm rod. Slide the Axis Mini sideways towards the 15mm rod port and secure it in place. If you do not have a side-facing rod port, you can use the FS5 top plate. It attaches to the FS5 LCD screen with the included FS5 to 1/4″ 20 rosette adapter. Alternatively, you can remove the adapter and mount the Axis Mini directly to a gratical.
The Axis Mini features three red tension levers that are independently controlled with a 360-degree rotation. Release all three levers to fully reposition the mount, or release just one to make adjustments to a single segment. You can dial in the exact tension level needed for each lever to adjust on the fly. Grab and move.
