Introducing the Sennheiser Spectera SEK (UHF) pocket transceiver station
The Sennheiser SEK (UHF) bodypack transceiver allows both return (IEM/IFB) reception and transmission in a single device. Spectera SEK bodypack transceivers feature a high-power headphone amplifier with impedance matching and offer up to seven hours of battery life with the BA 70 rechargeable lithium-ion battery, depending on the Audio Link mode and settings selected. SPECTERA SEK bodypack transceivers are available in two variants:
UHF (470608 MHz and 630698 MHz)
1G4 (13501400 MHz and 14351525 MHz).
With up to 64 channels (32 inputs/32 outputs) in a single unit, Spectera is the world’s first wideband, two-way digital wireless ecosystem , bringing unparalleled possibilities and flexibility to audio professionals. Spectera’s 11 Audio Link modes provide unprecedented control over latency, audio quality, and more for each link, while its bodypack transceivers handle both in-ear monitors and mic/line signals.
Practical use cases
During a live concert, for example, the sound engineer can easily configure up to 64 channels, distributed across 32 inputs and 32 outputs, to ensure complete, interference-free audio coverage. Thanks to the 11 Audio Link modes, they can adjust latency and sound quality to suit the specific needs of each link. This increased flexibility and efficiency is crucial in environments where every second counts.
