The MKE 440 is designed to effectively filter out sound sources that are not produced directly in front of the diaphragm. This way, you get accurate sound and a recording that includes only the sounds you want to capture.

To enhance quality and filter out as much noise as possible, the diaphragm is made of a double layer of metal mesh. This design allows the entire sound spectrum to be safely captured within the audio bandwidth, unlike the thin filters often used in such applications.

To ensure the sound matches the camera’s input sensitivity, a three-level control is integrated. The MKE 440 microphone is battery-powered and comes with a coiled 3.5 mm jack cable.
