Introducing the Ross DRA-8902-10-R3 Amplifier

The Ross DRA-8902 is a high-end, two-channel digital video distribution amplifier that supports SDI data rates from 270 Mbps to 12 Gbps, as well as DVB-ASI and MADI signals. It utilizes the latest technologies to achieve excellent equalization performance and supports cable lengths of up to 200 m in HD while meeting critical return loss specifications up to 12G. Equalization and reclocking are performed on all common serial digital signals, and each channel is completely independent and can operate at different data rates. The DRA-8902 can be configured and monitored via the Dashboard, and LED indicators on the edge of the board display incoming video and data rate.

The DRA-8902 is available in a 2-input/10-output configuration (this model) or a 2-input/16-output configuration (this model), supporting up to 10 DAs per frame. A front crossover point enhances functionality.

Dual inputs can be configured to power two independent DAs, or used as primary and backup inputs in a single DA arrangement with automatic failover
Outputs can be assigned by the user to either input, making it easy to change the number of outputs distributed from either input.
