Introducing the Ross SRA-8901-4 Amplifier

The Ross SRA-8901 is a high-end, single-channel, highly versatile digital video distribution amplifier. It was designed to help customers build signal chains that support emerging 4K UHD workflows. This 12G-SDI DA is capable of handling SDI data rates from 270Mb/s to 12Gb/s. It can also support DVB-ASI and MADI signals, making it suitable for a wide variety of applications. The SRA-8901 utilizes the latest technology and connectors to achieve industry-leading equalization performance, offering cable lengths of up to 200m in HD while meeting critical return loss specifications up to 12G. Equalization and reclocking are performed on all common serial digital signals.

The SRA-8901 is available in a 1×4 configuration (up to 20 DA per frame) (this model) or a 1×10 configuration (up to 10 DA per frame). It can be fully configured and monitored via the dashboard, as well as LED indicators on the front of the module that signal the presence of incoming video and the data rate.
