The RME Babyface Pro FS is a 24-channel USB interface.

ADI-2 Series Headphone Power Supply

The two headphone outputs, offering TRS and mini-jack sockets in parallel, feature completely separate attack stages to perfectly suit low and high impedance headphones, guaranteeing impeccable sound results regardless of the type of headphones used.

The output power of the 3.5 mm TRS telephone jacks reaches 90 mW. The THD of both telephone outputs has been improved by 10 dB and uses the same output amplifiers as the ADI-2 Pro. Finally, the output impedance of the 3.5 mm TRS telephone jacks has been reduced from 2 ohms to 0.1 ohms.

Full Range CaptureEnhanced Mic and Line Inputs:
For the main input/output, RME has designed an XLR connector that integrates seamlessly into the chassis, saving space. Two digitally controlled preamps provide individually switchable 48V phantom power. These circuits offer a gain range of 76dB, adjustable in 1dB steps, including a relay pad, resulting in exceptional EIN (Equivalent Input Noise) performance, line overload protection, and ample gain for even the lowest-volume microphones.

The Babyface Pro’s incredibly efficient design almost never requires an external power supplyit operates perfectly stably on USB 3 bus power, as well as on most USB 2 ports, without any degradation in technical specifications. It is therefore ideal for mobile recording, even with a pair of condenser microphones.
