Furthermore, as a G Master lens, it features an advanced optical design for well-corrected images with a high degree of sharpness and clarity. It incorporates two XA (eXtreme Aspheric) elements and one extra-low dispersion element that reduce a variety of aberrations, color fringing, and distortion. The lens also benefits from a Nano AR II coating that suppresses flare and ghosting for improved contrast. Dual XD linear motors are used to provide exceptionally quiet, accurate, and fast autofocus performance.
