Description
The OG-FiDO-2R is a 2-channel openGear-compatible Fibre to 3G-SDI converter that allows 3G-SDI signals to be extended up to 10 km using standard single-mode fiber optic cable. The two fiber inputs are completely independent, enabling different 3G-SDI data rates to be supported on each channel.
Designed for use with high-density openGear 2RU boards, including AJA’s OG-X-FR, the new DashBoard software support under Windows®, macOS® and Linux® provides remote control and monitoring of the openGear architecture as well as configuration and control options on a PC or local network.

Connectivity
The 3G-SDI input is automatically equalized, and the outputs are automatically reconfigured for optimal input jitter. SDI rates of 270 Mbps, 1.5 Gbps, and 3 Gbps are supported. One SDI input and nine SDI outputs are provided. A rear 10x BNC openGear connector module is included.

Flexibility I/O
The modular rear panel allows for custom I/O connections per card (supplied with individual cards).
Food
The optional redundant power supply provides a secondary power source in case of a primary power failure.
