Applications

Webcasting/Videography

Webcasters and videographers equipped with SDI cameras can create professional-quality content simply and efficiently with the V-1SDI.

Facility

Designed for long-distance connections via SDI or remote control via RS-232, the V-1SDI is ideal for fixed installations.

Live Events

Compact and portable, the V-1SDI adapts to live events, regardless of the size or location of the venue.

4-input multi-viewer

The 4-channel multi-view function lets you view four sources on a single screen for confident monitoring. A red frame shows the currently output video, and a green one indicates the next input.

Composition effects

The V-1SDI includes DSK (Downstream Kering), Picture-in-Picture (PinP), Salit and Quad effects to create new styles of broadcast or corporate content.

The DSK function allows you to overlay titles, song lyrics, or logos onto videos (which can be blended while text or images remain on screen). DSk is compatible with luminance (Black/White) or chromatic (Blue/Green) masking.

Audio Mixing

The Roland V-1SDI features a 14-channel digital audio mixer. It can mix five stereo audio inputs from the SDI or HDMI ports. Each audio input is equipped with a delay function to synchronize video and audio. The final audio mix is integrated with the video signal at both the SDI and HDMI outputs, as well as at the stereo jack outputs for sending to a PA system or recording to an external device.

Remote Control

Remote control is possible with the dedicated V-1SDi RCS software, for Mac and PC via USB cable.

The application provides a detailed view of connected mixers and can be used to mix video, mix audio, or change settings.
