A shotgun microphone designed for professional video
The Audio-Technica ATV-SG1 attaches directly to a camera’s accessory shoe and incorporates an anti-vibration system that minimizes handling noise and mechanical disturbances during filming. Its RF interference reduction technology significantly improves resistance to interference from nearby smartphones and electronic devices.
The microphone also features onboard controls to adjust gain, headphone volume, and a Low-Cut/HPF low-cut filter to reduce unwanted frequencies when recording outdoors or in noisy environments.
Real-time monitoring and integrated audio security
Thanks to its dedicated headphone output with volume control, the Audio-Technica ATV-SG1 allows for real-time audio monitoring, which is particularly useful during interviews, documentaries, or event recordings.
The integrated Safety Track mode automatically creates a -6 dB backup track to prevent audio clipping during sudden changes in sound level. This feature is especially useful for filming in unpredictable conditions.
Optimized design for mobile filming
Compact at only 127 mm in length and weighing 156 g, this shotgun microphone remains discreet and perfectly suited to mobile video setups. Its integrated rechargeable battery offers up to 24 hours of battery life via USB-A to USB-C charging.
