Neumann U87Ai Studio Set (Black) is a kit that includes the Neumann U87Ai microphone and EA 87 swivel stand.

The U87 is probably the best-known and most widely used Neumann studio microphone in the world. It has a large-diaphragm, dual-diaphragm capsule with three polar patterns: omnidirectional, cardioid, and bidirectional (figure-8), switchable via a selector located under the grille.

A 10 dB attenuation selector is located on the back of the microphone, allowing it to handle sound pressure levels up to 127 dB SPL without distortion. You can also attenuate the low-frequency response to compensate for proximity effects. It’s a good choice for most common applications in studio, broadcast, film, and television production

The EA 87 is a swivel bracket with a 5/8-27 female thread, plus a thread adapter to connect to 1/2 and 3/8 studs.
