The DPA Microphones 4060 CORE Omni (Mini Jack, White) is a miniature, moisture-resistant lavalier microphone that is used with wireless systems for broadcasting, performance, and theatrical applications.
The electret condenser capsule delivers crisp, clear, and intelligible speech. Its robust and discreet design is well-suited to the demands of stage work and professional presentations.
This version of the 4060 utilizes DPA’s CORE technology to deliver a 6 dB increase in dynamic range and a 6 dB reduction in noise compared to the 4060 Legacy model. Two interchangeable capsule guards that alter the microphone’s sonic character are included. The High-Boost guard creates a peak at 12 kHz, while the Soft-Boost guard provides subtle amplification between 8 and 20 kHz, slightly enhancing signal presence for clarity.
With a SPL rating of 134 dB, the microphone is more than capable of handling most standard speakers, singers, and presenters. The mic can also be used very effectively to capture instruments, making it a versatile tool for houses of worship and live event productions. The 4060 CORE is powered by a 5-10V plug-in power supply from a wireless transmitter. This version includes a locking 3.5 mm adapter for use with Sennheiser transmitters and recorders.
