Introducing the DMG MIX CT (Mini MIX, SL1)

The DMG MIX CT (Mini MIX, SL1) is a controller for the Mini MIX and SL1 LED panels. It is essentially the « brain » of these two panels and uses several methods to precisely adjust the light intensity and color. The device has three color modes: White, Color, and Gel. White is a simple CCT mode that allows you to vary the color temperature from 1700K to 10,000K in 50K increments with full control over magenta/green. Gel mode lets you choose from 186 Rosco gel filters, as well as additional gels stored in the device’s memory. Limited hue and saturation adjustments are possible. The color mode includes an HSI (hue, saturation, and intensity) control that adds the ability to select a white base between 3200 and 5600K, while in DMX mode the CCT base is extended to 1700 to 10,000K, and combined with hue and saturation, allows the creation of any color in the spectrum. Dimming is available in all modes via four presets: 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. There is also a folder containing effects such as Emergency Vehicle, Paparazzi, and Firelight.

The controller also offers several control options. You can, of course, make adjustments locally on the unit. But you can also do so remotely from a console with built-in DMX or wirelessly via the LumenRadio TiMo FX transceiver. You can also control the unit via the ArtNet protocol over the internet or a LAN with Wi-Fi or an RJ45 connector. DMG has also developed the myMIX app for iOS and Android, which can control up to 14 controllers simultaneously via Bluetooth. The MIX CT accepts optional V-Mount or Gold Mount batteries or a DMG power supply.
