Introducing the Audio-Technica BP4073

The Audio-Technica BP4073 is a shotgun microphone that captures broadcast-quality sound with a directivity that rivals much longer mics. Ideal for documentaries, professional field recordings, and theater sound reinforcement, the BP4073 boasts professional-grade features such as low-noise circuitry, a direct-coupled output, and extremely high SPL handling. The BP4073’s high sensitivity allows it to produce a powerful output without requiring extreme gain on your mic preamp. With a selectable low-cut filter and a -10 dB pad, the BP4073 is capable of delivering clear, distortion-free sound, even with intensely loud sound sources. Furthermore, its full-spectrum frequency response uses a slight boost in the high frequencies to enhance intelligibility. The rugged aluminum alloy housing ensures durability and lightweight performance. Thus, it will not weigh down your boom pole or camera, and the included accessories allow you to mount the BP4073 on a microphone stand, boom pole or camera microphone mount.
