Introducing the ARRI Orbiter (Naked, Blue/Silver)

The ARRI Orbiter (Nude, Blue/Silver) is an ultra-bright LED spotlight with an adjustable and directional beam. Featuring a processor four times faster than the SkyPanel, ARRI’s 190-LED Spectra system boasts a wide range of color capabilities, allowing you to create a vast array of colors with its six-color light engine, including red, green, blue, amber, cyan, and lime LEDs. It has a high CRI of 98 and a TLCI of 95, along with a color temperature range of 2000K to 20000K to suit almost any lighting situation. It also features smooth, continuous dimming from 100% to 0%.

It also features a color sensor to measure ambient light, a three-axis accelerometer that detects pan, tilt, and roll movements, and an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness of the control panel display.

The Orbiter incorporates ARRI’s Quick Lighting Mount (QLM) interface, a bayonet-style connection similar to a camera lens mount. This allows for quick and easy optical element changes. You can easily switch between open-face optics that produce a directional beam, projection optics that produce a sharp, focused beam with evenly distributed color, and domes that provide a large area of soft light. The spotlight can also be used with light banks, barn doors, honeycomb grids, and other separately available light-shaping accessories with the appropriate adapter.

Thanks to ARRI’s Lighting Operating System (LiOS), you can control all color modes, effects, and lighting grids directly from the integrated control panel. LiOS offers eight color modes, including CCT, HSO, RGBACL, Gel Select, X/Y coordinates, source matching, effects, and a custom mode that allows you to save over 240 favorites that can be applied to a DMX or interface. It also features three operating modes:high color rendering, high output, and low noise. Interfaces include 5-pin DMX input and output, two LAN ports, two USB Type-A ports, one USB Type-C port, and an SD card slot for future upgrades. It also has a sync input for future applications that will synchronize with your camera.

The spotlight is weatherproof and can withstand dust and water splashes. Its redesigned mounting points attach an optional yoke for positioning with a +/- 90° tilt, and the yoke has a standard 1 1/8″ Junior pin mounting point.
