Introducing the AJA HELO Plus
The AJA HELO Plus is a recorder that enables simultaneous, high-quality H.264 HD streaming and recording at the touch of a button. Offering powerful new production capabilities, the HELO Plus features dual streaming outputs and multi-input processing, SRT support, advanced encoding/decoding, enhanced scheduling and device operation options, graphic layout and insertion, and much more.
Dual-stream outputs allow users to create assets with different parameter settings for each output (bitrate, GOP length, frame rate, image geometry, B frame rate, etc.) and feed each one to one of two destinations. The AJA HELO Plus also allows users to choose one of the device’s two encoders to drive recording to USB, SD card, or NAS, so it can include the layout output.
HELO Plus is silent and fanless, allowing it to be used almost anywhere without worrying about noise. The SD card and USB ports are also conveniently located on the front of the device.
AJA HELO Plus can stream and record up to 1080p60 simultaneously in the following combinations:
- Streaming to two destinations and simultaneous recording to local SD storage
- Streaming to two destinations and simultaneous recording to local USB storage
- Streaming to two destinations and recording to NFS/CIFS network storage simultaneously
