The Sony TOUGH CFexpress G Series Type A 640GB is a Type A CFexpress memory card that delivers fast read speeds of up to 800MB/s and write speeds of up to 700MB/s. This rapid performance allows for recording a variety of video resolutions, bitrates, and compression levels, as well as continuous high-resolution RAW still photography. Beyond its speed, this TOUGH memory card also features a ruggedized physical design to withstand drops of up to 7.5 meters and has been rigidity tested to 70N of force. It is also resistant to extreme temperatures, X-rays, electrostatic lighting, and UV light. For added protection, File Rescue recovery software can be downloaded to recover lost or even accidentally deleted files. Finally, File Scan Utility can be used to automatically scan CFexpress cards and provide information on the flash memory’s status.
