The NTG-2 comes with its clip and a windscreen that eliminates breath noise during outdoor recordings under normal conditions.
This RODE microphone operates on standard 48V phantom power or a 1.5V alkaline battery. It accepts a voltage between 44 and 52V with positive polarity between pins 2 and 3 via the XLR output connector. The NTG-2 will operate optimally with a load impedance up to 1k. If a load below this impedance is used, the output signal level will be reduced. The NTG-2 output is balanced between pins 2 (hot), 3 (cold), and pin 1 (ground).
