It offers up to 8 hours of operation on two AA batteries, with adjustable RF output power of 5/30mW and a transmission range of up to 100m.The transmitter offers a bandwidth of 72 MHz with UHF frequencies from 470.025 MHz to 542.000 MHz (UHF television channels 21 to 29).The UTX-M40 features a dynamic microphone capsule with a cardioid pickup pattern that focuses audio capture on the presenter in front of the microphone while reducing unwanted background noise. The transmitter uses an interchangeable microphone capsule design compatible with over 40 different capsules from various manufacturers.
