Introducing the Sennheiser MKH 8060
The Sennheiser MKH 8060 is a compact shotgun microphone that delivers exceptionally high-quality sound. Ideal for feature films, documentaries, location shooting, or studio productions, it can be mounted on a boom pole or camera. Its moisture resistance allows for superb audio capture even in demanding conditions.
It incorporates a supercardioid polar pattern in the low to mid frequencies and transitions to a lobar pattern in the high frequencies, providing a uniform 10 to 20 dB attenuation from 125 Hz to 1 kHz between 90° and 120° off-axis. The high-frequency rejection pattern is also consistent, further contributing to the microphone’s transparent and undistorted off-axis tone. Your dialogue, foley, and sound effects can be recorded with full dynamic range and clarity, thanks to its wide frequency response, transformerless output, and high SPL handling.
