Introducing the Ross AMX-8952-AOpenGear Map
The Ross AMX-8952-A 4K UHD 12G-SDI Embedder/De-embedder offers a cost-effective solution that enables engineers and system integrators to embed discrete audio signals into HD/3G/6G/12G-SDI infrastructures. As an openGear solution, it is part of an open ecosystem of products that utilize standard frameworks and leverage unified dashboard control.
The AMX-8952 family consists of 3 variants supporting the most common discrete audio standards:
AMX-8952-A: 16 discrete asymmetric AES channels;
AMX-8952-B: 16 discrete balanced AES channels;
AMX-8952-C: 8 discrete analog channels
The AMX-8952 is designed to solve the following embedded audio workflow problems:
SDI audio embedder/disembedder with optional 12G SDI support.
Video synchronization using an optional frame synchronizer.
Supports 16 discrete AES channels or 8 discrete analog audio channels.
Audio synchronization with high-quality built-in sample rate conversion.
Video delay adjustment to at least 1 second in all supported video formats.
Audio adjustment per channel pair using built-in mix, gain, and delay functions.
User-configurable embedder or disembedder mode for quick adaptation to changing needs.
