Introducing the RME Digiface USB
The RME Fireface UCX II is a multichannel audio interface in an ultra-compact format for studio and live recording. It’s a highly integrated professional audio solution in an ultra-compact form factor for studio and live recording. It continues RME’s long tradition of designing advanced, compact interfaces, packing into a half-rack unit what would typically be spread across two or three 19-inch panels.
The most powerful and versatile RME USB audio interface
This unique audio system is capable of transferring analog and digital audio data directly to Windows and Mac computers. The latest Plug and Play technology ensures easy setup, even for the inexperienced user. Numerous unique features, such as a well-designed setup dialog and integrated routing solution, allow for quick, convenient, and efficient operation of the Fireface UCX II. The Fireface UCX II features two XLR combo mic/line preamps on the front panel, along with two digitally controlled line/instrument inputs, a headphone jack, various control knobs, a display, and the master volume control. On the rear panel, there are ten balanced analog inputs and outputs, MIDI I/O, ADAT I/O, AES/EBU and SPDIF I/O, USB 2.0, and a switchable word clock I/O. With SteadyClock FS, the Fireface UCX II features RME’s latest clock rejection and jitter technology. Based on a femtosecond clock, SteadyClock FS reduces inherent jitter during conversion to and from analog and all digital formats to a historically low level.
